Valentines Incense Crafting Workshop

Friends and lovers, join us in a special hands-on candle lit evening at the shop exploring plant spirit meditation, plant smoke and methods of hand rolling incense cones. We will be working with locally grown and organically sourced herbs, berries, resins wine & honey. Participants will learn hand rolling methods and take their cones home.

Schedule:
*Discussing smoke clearing practices rooted in Slavic, Scandinavian and Celtic traditional context. (These are my ancestral lines but we will be discussing other traditions and the issues of appropriation of Native American smudging practices and sacred plants)
*Working with aphrodisiac scents and herbs ruled by the planet Venus
*Exploring some of the myth surrounding primordial god Eros.
*Blending, shaping and drying methods with farm-grown and organically sourced herbs. Each participant will get the chance to smell and sit with plants and make their own custom cones to take home.
